Davar is published by Faculdade Ipemig (FIPEMIG). It is an open access, free, interdisciplinary journal focusing on Religious Studies and Theology.

Mission: Davar aims to publish scientific works that contribute to the advancement of research in the field of Religious Studies and Theology and to critical and comprehensive academic training, open to dialogue, interdisciplinary perspectives, and a plurality of ideas.

The journal publishes original articles and texts in the form of reviews, preferably by researchers in the field of Religious Studies and Theology and related sciences. Davar publishes unpublished texts in Portuguese, Spanish, English, and Italian. The works are submitted to the journal's checklist of standards, pre-evaluated by the Editorial Committee, and, if approved, sent for external evaluation by two (02) ad hoc reviewers (peer review, double-blind review). Texts are accepted in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format: articles between 4,000 and 7,000 words and reviews between 3 and 5 pages.
